This set includes the Leitertec System 32 mm
It is suitable for retrofitting to all telescopic ladders with round stiles (internal diameter 32 mm) and spring-loaded pushbuttons.
The Leitertec system:
The Leitertec system consists of two arms, two cotter pins and two vacuum cups (see illustrations).
The arms and vacuum cups are largely made of high-quality aluminum, ensuring maximum stability even under high loads.
The vacuum cups are attached to the arms using the cotter pins. Then remove the cover caps from the telescopic ladder and insert the Laddertec system into the resulting openings (inside diameter 28 mm). The spring-loaded push-buttons ensure that the laddertec system is automatically and securely locked into the telescopic ladder. The telescopic ladder is ready for use.
The entire installation process can be carried out in a very short time, even by inexperienced users.
The vacuum cups guarantee safe and non-slip application on most smooth and flat surfaces such as glass panes, car panels and much more.
The Leitertec system is suitable for retrofitting to all telescopic ladders with round stiles (inside diameter 32 mm) and spring-loaded pushbuttons. However, it can also be purchased directly from Leitertec in various sets with different compositions.
Advantages:
- Increasing the contact surface at the contact points of the telescopic ladder (vacuum suction cups) protects the contact surface by mechanically distributing the contact pressure over a larger area.
- The rubber surface of the vacuum cups provides strong protection against slipping even before the vacuum is generated on the vacuum cups.
- For rough surfaces, such as house facades, suitable felt pads for the Leitertec system can be obtained from the range. This considerably extends the application range of the overall system.
- The angle of the arms significantly increases the distance between the telescopic ladder and the contact surface, so that scratches in the paintwork or dents can be better avoided when loading a roof box, for example.
The bag:
The bag is the ideal solution for storing the
Leitertec system
in a space-saving and clearly arranged manner.
It is divided into many compartments so that the rods, the vacuum cups, the cotter pins, the felt pads and the operating instructions all have their place. There is even space left over for other things, such as the cover caps for the telescopic ladder.
The top handle makes the bag easy to carry.
The dimensions of the bag are calculated so that it fits into the lowest rung of the telescopic ladder. There it is attached to the uprights and rungs with 8 Velcro straps. If you want to leave the bag on the telescopic ladder while it is in use, you can open the Velcro straps except for the top two, so that the bottom rung can also be used as the bag then folds away backwards when you step onto the rung (or is already hanging backwards due to the angle at which it is attached).
The practical zipper makes it easy to open and close the bag while it is attached to the telescopic ladder.
The Leitertec system can be stowed safely in the bag even when assembled, so that it does not have to be dismantled after each use.
The bag is very robust and durable thanks to the first-class processing of very high-quality materials.
The felt pads:
The felt pads offered here are an extension for the Leitertec system.
The felt pads are made of plastic on one side and felt on the other.
The felt side is gentle on the surface thanks to its soft consistency. The felt surface protects against slipping on rough surfaces.
The contact surfaces of the rubber pads are slightly enlarged by the felt pads. The rubber surfaces are therefore protected. Possible pressure points on sensitive surfaces are thus minimized.
The suction cups of the Leitertec system suck up the felt pads and are therefore fitted in seconds.
Heavily worn felt pads can be easily replaced.
